The Miles for Minds 5K  6-week training program will introduce the following fitness markers to both beginners and experienced runners:
1.  Specificity exercises for muscular and flexibility as it relates to the walk to run movement
2. Learning to "get your breathe"
3.  Resistance exercises to make your perceived effort less.
4.  Defining and measuring your current fitness markers such as heart rate, blood pressure, muscle to fat index, etc.
5.  Gait analysis...what do you look like when you move; how can you move more efficiently
6.  Going for a long distance; designing effort level pacing for the 5K distance

Training Program Choices:

4:30pm - Shriners Childrens Hospital - USF campus - Wed. evenings
8:00am - Shriners Childrens Hospital - Corporate Office - Sat. mornings
