Specificity Exercises DVD
These running specificity exercises prepare both the beginner and advanced participant for the muscular strength and agility necessary for distance walking and running. Practicing these exercises on an every other day basis is recommended for optimal results.
Hard Core DVD
Core and back exercises are critical for proper walk to run form. These core exercises are basic, yet quite challenging as you increase repetitions. Performing core/abdominal exercises necessitates a strong back. Basic back strengthening exercises completes your “core” package.
Roller Class DVD
The use of a foam roller as a self-massage tool will reduce impact related injuries found often with distance runners. This video demonstrates the various positions the participant should be in which then massages those muscles major which are sore. Foam roller massage is preventative since daily use on the muscle groups work out adhesions and ease the “tight” feeling one feels in after working out.
